Who runs this service

extend.video is operated by leorigna (Leonardo Rignanese), a sole trader registered in Italy under the regime forfettario tax scheme, VAT number IT02848060428. The registered address is available on request at extendvideo@leorigna.com. Using the site means you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.

What the service does

extend.video runs two kinds of AI job on a video you upload. Extend generates new frames that continue your clip, so it plays for longer. Expand generates new pixels outside the original camera frame, so the clip fits a different aspect ratio. You choose which AI model runs the job. The generation itself is performed by a third-party AI provider, fal.ai, which receives your video for the duration of the run.

Your account

You need an account (email or Google sign-in) to run a job or buy credits. Keep your sign-in method secure; you are responsible for everything done under your account. You must be old enough to enter a contract in your country. You can delete your account at any time from the app, which also deletes your stored files — see the section on deletion below.

Credits and prices

extend.video is a paid product. There is no free tier. You buy credits up front, in a pack, and each run spends credits from your balance. There is no subscription and nothing renews.

• Starter — 6 credits, $5 USD
• Creator — 16 credits, $12 USD
• Studio — 36 credits, $25 USD

What a single run costs depends on the model you pick, because the models do not cost us the same. The exact number of credits is always shown in the app before you start a run.

Credits are a prepaid entitlement to use this service. They are not money, they carry no cash value, they cannot be transferred to another account, and they cannot be exchanged for cash. Credits are added to your balance only after the payment provider confirms your payment. We may change pack prices and the credit cost of a run at any time. A change never takes away credits that are already in your balance.

Dodo Payments is the merchant of record

We do not sell the credit packs to you directly and we do not process your payment. Dodo Payments is the merchant of record for every purchase made on extend.video. Dodo is the seller on the transaction, takes the payment, and is responsible for charging and remitting any sales tax or VAT that applies to you. Your card details go to Dodo, never to us — we never see or store them, and the charge on your statement comes from Dodo. Dodo’s own terms and privacy policy govern the payment itself. Anything to do with the money — an invoice, a card dispute, a chargeback, a payment-level refund — is ultimately handled by Dodo. Write to us first and we will help.

Refunds, stated exactly

This is what the software actually does. It is deliberately narrow, so read it before you buy.

• A rejected submission is never charged. If our automatic content check rejects your video or your prompt, the run does not start and no credits leave your balance.
• A failed run is refunded automatically. If the run fails, if the AI provider returns no usable video, or if we cannot deliver the result, the credits go back to your balance by themselves. You do not have to ask.
• A run that breaks the content rules is not refunded. If the generated result fails our content check, the run is charged in full and the account is closed. This is the one failure that is not refunded. See “Safe for work only” below.
• A run that times out is refunded automatically. A run still unfinished after 30 minutes is cancelled and refunded. A backstop on our servers closes out and refunds any job still open after 35 minutes, even if you closed the browser tab.
• A delivered result is not refunded, even if you do not like it. You choose the model, knowing that AI video quality is uneven. Credits pay for the run, not for a result you are happy with. If one model misses, you can send the same clip to a different model, which spends credits again.

An automatic refund returns credits to your balance. It does not return money to your card. Each job can be refunded once.

Unspent credits are not refundable in money as a matter of our own policy. That policy does not override rights you have by law. If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, your statutory rights — including any right of withdrawal that applies to your purchase — stay intact, and Dodo Payments, as merchant of record, is the party that processes a money refund. Email us and we will help you reach them.

Safe for work only, and how we check

extend.video is SFW only. Every submission is checked automatically before it can spend credits: still frames are extracted from your video and classified for adult content, and any text prompt you write is checked against a filter. If either check fails, the submission is rejected, the run never starts, and nothing is charged.

Automatic checks are not perfect in either direction. They sometimes reject harmless footage, and they can miss things. We may also reject, remove, or refuse to process any content, and suspend or close an account, if we believe it breaks these terms. Do not upload sexual content, content involving minors, anything illegal where you are or where we operate, content that depicts a real, identifiable person without their consent, or anything designed to get past the content checks.

Content that violates these rules is not refunded. A run that violates them is charged in full, and the account is closed. Purchases made by a closed account are refunded and no credits are granted. If you believe a closure is a mistake, write to extendvideo@leorigna.com.

Your content and your rights

You must own the video you upload, or otherwise have the rights and permissions needed to upload it and have it processed by AI. That includes the rights of anyone appearing in it. You keep ownership of what you upload.

You grant us only the permission we need to run the service for you: to store your video, the still frames extracted from it, and the generated result, and to send them to our AI provider (fal.ai) and our infrastructure providers so the job can run. We do not use your videos to train AI models and we do not publish them. You are responsible for how you use the output. Whether AI-generated output can be owned or copyrighted differs from country to country, and we make no claim about its legal status.

Upload limits and storage

• Accepted formats: MP4, MOV and WebM.
• Maximum length: 29.5 seconds per upload.
• Maximum size: 200 MB per file.
• Storage per account: 1 GiB and 500 files while you have never bought a pack, and 25 GiB and 5,000 files once you have. Uploads beyond your quota are refused until you delete some files.

Download the results you want to keep. We do not guarantee that a generated video stays available in your account forever.

Quality is not guaranteed

AI video generation is uneven, and we would rather say so before you pay than after. Scenery, landscapes and simple camera motion usually work well. Faces, hands, text and complex motion remain difficult for every AI engine, including the ones we use. We do not promise that a result will be usable, accurate, seamless, or of any particular resolution or quality, and a delivered result is not refundable. This is exactly why you choose the model instead of us choosing for you.

Availability and changes

We may change, add or retire models, packs and prices, and we may change or discontinue the service. If we retire a model, credits you already hold remain spendable on the models that are still available. We aim to keep the service running but we do not promise uninterrupted availability: it depends on providers we do not control. If we make a significant change to these terms we will update this page and the date at the top of it.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account from the app at any time. Deletion removes your account and permanently deletes your uploaded videos, extracted frames and generated results from our storage. Records of what you paid are archived and kept after deletion, because tax law and payment disputes require it. The Privacy Policy explains exactly what is kept and why.

Liability

Except where these terms say otherwise, the service is provided as it is, without warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost data, or damages arising from AI output, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or gross negligence — and nothing here reduces your statutory rights as a consumer.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Italian law and applicable European Union law. Any dispute will be handled by the competent courts of Italy, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
